who we ARE
We are a family team who believes in sitting around a table, talking and laughing for hours, and enjoying a meal together. Breaking Bread Tables is comprised of three generations who work together to bring a community based, dining experience to other families. Our family believes that community and togetherness fuel the human spirit, and we want to share that through our tables. We are a big family, with big dreams, who feeds on creativity, and enjoys making things with our hands. We make tables that we hope will promote community, and togetherness in other people’s lives.

why we STARTED
In 2012 our dad decided to make an outdoor table for thanksgiving. Given the size of our family, we needed a table that would accommodate all of us. So, he decided to make the entire table out of twenty foot long reclaimed wood planks that came from the family ranch. The table turned out amazing, and our family was able to break bread together as one unit, rather than being divided into several different tables. That Thanksgiving is one that we will always cherish. Soon after that, for my wedding, we decided to keep the tradition alive, and constructed seven tables in order to have all of our friends and family sit together and break bread. Following the wedding, interest began to grow in our large tables, and we realized that other people wanted a similar dining experience in their homes. It didn’t take long to see that these tables were special because they gave people a sense of community. Our tables bring back meaning to having a meal together, and every table we build has its own story.

what we DO
Technically what we do is make tables. But what we are trying to do is so much more. At the heart of what we do there is purpose and intention. We are encouraging families, friends, and businesses to not only eat a meal together, but to break bread together. We are encouraging people to invest in their community; make a new friend, learn their story, and break bread with them. Breaking Bread Tables is a Love Centered and Community driven business. Whether it is for your home, your wedding, your restaurant, or for any other place or event that you can think of; we hope these tables bring meaning and purpose to your life.
